WhoaZone Equine was dreamt up by Owner, Skye Mize when she was transitioning from a full-time position as an equine sports medicine and anesthesia tech to motherhood. Her extensive knowledge of both sides of the business and years of experience in veterinary medicine and equine management was the perfect segway to a transfer of roles within the industry and creating a business model that would allow her more time home with her daughter and family. She was already involved in the reining horse industry personally with a breeding stallion and a handful of broodmares. She noticed a need for equine marketing concepts within the western performance horse industry that would allow trainers, owners, and managers to focus more on the horse than time-consuming marketing strategies while employing a global platform with established networks. A one, stop, shop essentially and so WhoaZone was created.
WhoaZone Equine is a unique marketing portal for any size western performance horse program or service. It is WhoaZone’s goal to make sure that everyone from the weekend local horse enthusiast to the elite Level 4 Futurity Champions can utilize the platform to better their business and introduce their horses, products, or services to the globe. Additionally, this industry relies heavily on the power of networking. For this reason, we added categories to the website to connect with industry professionals from veterinarians and repro facilities to farriers, artists, leather workers, real estate agents, artists, photographers, videographers, and more.
